Outreach Ministry presents unique mission opportunities for you to experience life-change in an environment guaranteed to make a difference in your life and in the lives of those you’ll serve! We continue to partner with our sister church in Rajamundry, India. We're building relationships and homes just south of the border in Mexico. We’ve put together renovation teams to help clean and fix up homes and other areas within our community. Whether providing resources, praying for those we send, or going yourself, there’s an opportunity for everyone to get involved and serve.

Find out more about what's going on right now with these mission opportunities and how you can get involved!

July 1 - 7 // Alabama Tornado Relief Team

Over the past year, many of us have watched in horror as we saw the devastation ensued by tornados in Alabama. Trees were mangled, houses were reduced to rubble, and many lives were lost. Inland Hills Church is joining the Christian community in springing into action. Next Step Outreach, formely known as Hope Crisis Reponse Network, has set up camp in Birmingham, AL. (We have sent teams to work with Next Steps in Birmingham in July 2011 and February 2012 and previously sent several teams to work with Hope Crisis Response Network following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.)

Our team may include many age groups and life-stages (16 and older). Construction skills are valuable, but definitely not a must. You'd be amazed at what you can learn to do in a day! Volunteers will help run our camp as well as work alongside tornado victims in their long term recovery efforts. We'll need help with construction, cooking, clean-up, and overall encouragement and support to the community and church in Alabama.

We still have room for others to join our team! Join us for our first team buiding meeting. For more information regarding this trip, contact Jason Urbanski via email or at 909.393.1577, ext. 212. Applications for our team will be taken through May 17.

  • First team building meeting: Thursday, May 17
    7 - 8:30 p.m. in building B, room 101
  • You may view/print an information packet here containing additional information regarding this trip.
  • Alabama trip dates: July 1 - 7, 2012
  • Trip cost: Approximately $800 ($300 deposit reserves your spot)
