In Memoriam – Andrew Stoecklein

May 19, 1988 – August 25, 2018

Andrew Stoecklein illustrated the love of Jesus with care and passion that made faith real for so many. Under the guidance of his father Dave, Andrew took the stage as Lead Pastor and taught with thoughtful fervor and humor (#golakers). His warm, gentle spirit toward us all is a legacy that now enriches Heaven, and continues in the heart of Inland Hills.

Eric Heard

Interim Pastor

Eric has graciously stepped in as our Interim Pastor, shepherding our staff and teaching onstage as we transition to a permanent Lead Pastor. A close friend of Inland Hills for over seven years, Eric brings four decades of ministry know-how in leading families, and also serves as Stewardship Pastor at Mariner’s Church in Irvine. Eric joyfully speaks from his own experiences with God—relating His grace in ways that are often funny and always relevant. Eric and his wife Debbie have two awesome grown kids, Johnny and Crystal, and Eric is known to take in outdoor sports, good books, and delicious meals…often getting recognized wherever he goes.

Peter Gilpatric

Executive Pastor

Peter has faithfully served Inland Hills for many years, and he finds his Executive Pastor role so rewarding because he gets to work alongside “an amazing staff.” As he puts it, he has a beautiful wife of almost 48 years that “still makes my heart race when she walks into the room.” Together they have six uniquely gifted children—and sixteen amazing grandkids! Despite living in sunny SoCal, Peter enjoys cool, rainy days, often sitting down with a good book. Still, he loves to keep moving—cooking whenever he can, and wanting to work out more (but then, doesn’t everybody?).

Brad Sisco

Executive Director of Administration

Brad has been an integral part of Inland Hills since its early days, and now oversees the organizational side of the church. With a passion for putting God first in money matters, he leads Financial Peace University at IHC, and balances financial coaching and small group leading as well as his checkbook (ha!). A cycling enthusiast, Brad also enjoys quality time with his wife, Sandra, and their two daughters—whether traveling, eating out, or catching up with friends.

Carol Stoecklein

Associate Director

Carol and her husband Dave, IHC’s Senior Pastor of 25 years, led the original group of individuals who launched IHC in 1991. Today, Carol serves on our leadership team where she brings a wealth of wisdom and knowledge of lHC history. She also serves alongside our ministry directors and pastors as a mentor and consultant, playing a key role in their development as they lead their ministry areas. Most of Carol’s free time is spent being grandma to her 3 grandsons, Smith, Jet, and Brave. And she loves every minute of it.
