Homes for Mexico – Sept 2019

We will team up with Hands of Mercy to bring help to a community in need. We build parts of two kit-houses here on campus and then take a weekend to travel to Mexico to assemble them. Hands of Mercy works with local pastors in Mexico to select a family who will receive the houses. Individuals, families (ages 6+), or small groups are welcome; persons under 16 must have an accompanying adult family member.

We will stay in ranch bunk houses at Rancho Casitas (with showers and flushing toilets), and we will build in Paraiso. Passports are required. Cost of the trip is $225 per individual, and immediate families of 3 or more can go for $600. The cost covers food and lodging at Rancho Casitas, plus materials to build and transport the houses. Everyone is welcome to join us during the kit house pre-build day at 9am on Aug 24.
