From the beginning, Inland Hills Church has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and building relationships through intentional community. IHC was founded in 1991 with the intention of being a church for people who weren’t into church.

The passion that God placed within the hearts of founding pastor Dave Stoecklein and a core group of families was contagious: by the end of the first year, IHC was regularly seeing nearly 500 people participate in their weekly gatherings at Ayala High School, located at the center of Chino Hills. In the summer of 1999, we achieved our dream of building our own facilities and moved onto a 20 acre campus. The sacrifice, prayers, and engagement of hundreds of families continued to open new pathways for more ministry and further reach.

IHC remains committed to the life-giving message of Jesus, the passion and joy of weekly worship gatherings, and a simple but effective approach to discipleship. We believe the message of Jesus is good news for everyone, so we invest heavily in our local communities and around the world through both financial sponsorship and community service.

We have consistently been a church that values innovation in service to our mission. We were among the first in Southern California to commit to being a contemporary, relevant church for unchurched people. Currently, we are leveraging the power of ever-changing technologies and the global reach of the internet to share the love of Jesus as broadly as possible.

Today, thousands of people attend Inland Hills Church from all over the Inland Empire. The numbers, however, are not what drive the leadership at Inland Hills Church. We long to see lives changed by Jesus. We long to align everything we do and everything we invest in with the goal of people encountering and being transformed by Christ.
