Surfing In The Storm

The first Christians faced overwhelming adversity: they were imprisoned, flogged, beaten with rods, shipwrecked, and stoned. They had to overcome their deeply held former ideologies, welcome new people into their fold, and protect the unity of the church for the sake of Jesus. And yet the storms only seemed to make them stronger; by the close of the first century, this community of Christ-followers had transformed their world while remaining ONE in purpose.
